History of the Waldron District Library
The Waldron District Library was established in 1936 to serve the residents of Waldron and the surrounding communities. Over the years, the library has occupied several different locations as it grew to meet the needs of its patrons.
Eventually, the library found its permanent home at 107 N. Main Street in Waldron, Michigan, where it continues to serve as a welcoming place for learning, reading, and community connection.
From its earliest days, the Waldron District Library has strived to be the heart of the village—a hub for information, education, and social engagement. Whether through access to books and technology, children’s programs, or community events, the library remains dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals and families throughout the district.
