Borrow Books Using  MeL

To access MeL, you will need to enter Waldron District Library as your library, along with your name and your patron ID number. If you do not have this information, please contact your lending library. To begin using MeL, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Access the MeL website (https://mel.org/welcome)

  2. Type the desired title or author into the MeLCat Keyword Search

  3. Click on “Get This Item from MeLCat”

  4. Change the library to Waldron District Library, then enter your name and patron ID number

  5. Click Submit. Your library will contact you when the item is ready for pickup

  6. Log Out once your request has been completed
